When configuring a bus bridge as a MODBUS master station, the configuration method is to simply configure the MDBUS command message queue and MODBUS slave station address information that the gateway needs to send in the PROFIBUS master station configuration (such as STEP7, TwinCAT, SYCon). The gateway can automatically form and (timed, triggered) send MODBUS commands, and receive and parse slave station response commands and data;
The bus bridge is a memory sharing gateway - the PROFIBUS master station directly reads/writes MODBUS side stations based on the configured gateway PROFIBUS data area (I/Q area)
